*** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: Palestinian Prisoners’ institutions reported that 662 Palestinians, including 39 children and 12 women, were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), during July 2025. The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. Source: Palestine Information Center, August 10, 2025. *** Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate. ***

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

The meeting will be co-chaired by Egyptian president 'Abdul-Fatta'h El-Seesi and US president Donald Trump, with the participation of leaders from more than 20 countries, a statement released by the Egyptian presidency said. The summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, enhance efforts to bring peace and stability to the Middle East, and usher in a new phase of regional security and stability, according to the statement. The ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas entered into effect on Friday, following three days of indirect negotiations in Sharm El-Shaikh between the two sides mediated by Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye and the US. *** Thousands of displaced Palestinians continue returning to Gaza City amid widespread destruction GAZA, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Thousands of displaced Palestinians continue returning to Gaza City and surrounding areas, walking through streets lined with rubble and destruction left behind by two years of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. Large crowds of returnees were seen making their way on foot along major roads such as al-Rashid Street, which runs along the coast from the north to the south of the Strip, and Salah al-Din Street, spanning at least seven kilometers. Many have returned to find their homes destroyed or uninhabitable. Al-Rashid Street, in particular, witnessed dozens of massacres during the war, as Israeli forces targeted civilians attempting to flee from the north to the south of Gaza in search of safety. Since October 2023, Israel has carried out acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of more than 67,000 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 170,000 others, the vast majority of them women and children. The humanitarian catastrophe has also triggered a famine that has claimed the lives of 460 people, including 154 children. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that 1.9 million people in Gaza—over 80% of the population—have been forcibly displaced since the start of the war. Many were forced to flee multiple times due to continued bombardments and military operations. The UN has reported that more than 1.2 million people were displaced from Gaza City alone since mid-March 2025, as a result of intensified Israeli assaults. On August 11, Israeli forces launched a large-scale offensive targeting neighborhoods in Gaza City. The assault included the use of explosive-laden robots to demolish homes, heavy artillery shelling, indiscriminate gunfire, and mass forced displacement. The attack was part of what observers describe as an Israeli plan to reoccupy remaining areas of the Gaza Strip. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), as of July 20, 2025, approximately 88% of Gaza’s territory—covering about 360 square kilometers and home to around 2.3 million Palestinians—was under Israeli evacuation orders, effectively amounting to forced displacement of nearly the entire population. M.N. *** El-Shawwa: 80 percent of Gaza residents lost their homes Sunday 12-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Amjad El-Shawwa, executive director of the Palestinian NGOs Network in Gaza, has affirmed that 80 percent of the Gaza Strip residents have lost their homes, while estimates indicate that the Israeli war has left behind about 60 million tons of rubble. In remarks published by Al-'Araby Al-Jadeed website on Sunday, Shawa explained that around one and a half million Palestinians have lost their homes over the course of two years and two days of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. El-Shawwa highlighted that the war-ravaged Gaza Strip is now littered with an estimated 60 million tons of debris. According to him, between 300,000 and 400,000 displaced Palestinians have managed to return to their areas in Gaza City and northern Gaza amid extremely difficult conditions, as most of them have lost their homes and belongings. “The return of displaced residents to their homes is expected to accelerate with the delivery of shelter supplies and the initiation of the second phase of the Israeli army’s withdrawal from Rafa'h, eastern Khan Younus, Al-Shuja’iya, and northern Gaza,” El-Shawwa said. El-Shawwa expressed his belief that rebuilding the Gaza Strip would be a lengthy process, but he stressed that the immediate priority is to carry out urgent relief operations and address the humanitarian needs of the population. *** Limited number of gas and fuel trucks enter Gaza GAZA, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A limited number of aid trucks loaded with gas and fuel began entering the Gaza Strip this evening, after Israel had prevented their entry for two years. Eyewitnesses reported the arrival of a limited number of trucks carrying gas and fuel through the Karm Abu Salim crossing, under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Friday. For two years of genocide, Israel had prevented the entry of gas and fuel into the Gaza Strip, except for limited quantities allowed during the truce period last January and small amounts delivered to international organizations for distribution to vital sectors, including hospitals. For more than two months, Israel has allowed the entry of aid trucks at a daily average of 60 to 70, in addition to a limited number of commercial trucks; however, none of them carried gas or fuel. The first phase of the ceasefire agreement came into effect on Friday. T.R. *** UNRWA: Around 170 trucks entered Gaza on Sunday Sunday 12-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Sunday that approximately 170 aid trucks had entered the Gaza Strip. In a press statement, UNRWA emphasized that it plays a central role in aid distribution and that other UN organizations are unable to organize the process effectively. “We are the only organization with warehouses in Gaza and capable of distributing aid in an organized and transparent manner,” the agency said. UNRWA also noted that it is the only body with the capacity to distribute aid inside Gaza City, adding, “We have thousands of workers and hundreds of distribution points that we can rebuild within hours, even in heavily damaged areas.” The agency pointed out that Israel controls what aid is allowed in and its type through the Karem Abu Salem crossing, which it fully oversees. It also highlighted that 6,000 aid trucks are waiting at the gates of Gaza, with ongoing negotiations to allow them entry. Earlier on Sunday, limited quantities of cooking gas began to enter the Gaza Strip for the first time in more than six months. Gas distribution associations in Gaza confirmed that several trucks carrying gas entered through the Karm Abu Salim commercial crossing in the southern part of the Strip. Several gas distributors reported that the General Petroleum Authority had instructed them to collect gas cylinders from residents as quickly as possible, with a deadline of tonight. Distributor Yousuf Abu Samra said, “According to the Authority’s instructions, the price of a cylinder for the public will be 60 shekels, at a rate of 8 shekels per kilo.” Following two years of a full-scale war on the Palestinian people in Gaza, a ceasefire came into effect last Friday morning after the Israeli military announced the withdrawal of its forces to the “yellow line,” in accordance with the agreement approved by the Israeli government the previous night. Hundreds of thousands of displaced people began heading north toward Gaza City after the Israeli military declared the start of the ceasefire at 12 p.m. local time on Friday, allowing passage via Al-Rashid and Salah al-Din roads. The ceasefire is part of a broader political agreement brokered by the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye and represents the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war. This phase includes a complete cessation of hostilities, partial Israeli withdrawals, a prisoner exchange, the opening of crossings, and the entry of humanitarian aid. *** ****** Gaza death toll rises to 67,806, including 117 retrieved bodies in the past 24 hours GAZA, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that bodies of 124 people (including 117 retrieved bodies) and 33 wounded others were taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. Thus, the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 67,806 and 170,066 wounded, since October 7, 2023. A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them so far. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza called on families of martyrs and missing persons to complete their data through the official online platform for documenting names, stressing that this contributes to finalizing the national registry of victims of the aggression. Medical teams warn the toll is likely higher, as many victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or lie in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them due to destroyed infrastructure and ongoing insecurity. These figures come just two days after the first phase of a ceasefire agreement took effect. The deal, brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump and approved late Friday by the Israeli government, includes a ceasefire, gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange. Despite the truce, the humanitarian crisis remains extreme, with aid groups calling for immediate and unrestricted access to deliver life-saving food, medicine, and supplies. *** IOA holds the bodies of 735 martyrs, including 67 children and 86 prisoners Sunday 12-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian National Campaign for the Retrieval of Martyrs’ Bodies and the Disclosure of the Fate of the Missing reported that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) continues to hold the bodies of 735 Palestinians, including 67 children. In a statement, the committee explained that among these are 256 bodies buried in the so-called “Cemeteries of Numbers.” These cemeteries are simple burial grounds surrounded by stones and without headstones. Each grave has a metal plate bearing a number instead of a name, and every number corresponds to a file kept by the IOA. The committee added that since the beginning of 2025, the IOA has withheld the bodies of 479 Palestinians, including 86 detainees, 67 children, and 10 women. The statement referred to a report published by Haaretz in mid-July, which revealed that the Israeli army is holding around 1,500 bodies of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip at the Sde Teiman military base. The IOA established what it calls “Enemy Dead Cemeteries” in the late 1960s inside closed and secret military zones, where it buried the bodies of Palestinians and other Arabs it killed, refusing to return them to their families. Palestinians refer to these as “Cemeteries of Numbers,” as they have no grave markers, only numbered iron rods, leaving the bodies unidentified. The IOA also continues to hold the bodies of Palestinians at the Israeli National Center of Forensic Medicine (Abu Kabir), where the remains of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces are kept in refrigerators. Their families are only allowed to retrieve them under strict conditions related to funeral arrangements. In many cases, the bodies are returned frozen and disfigured, making identification difficult. Families are thus denied the right to hold proper funerals or traditional burial ceremonies, deepening the inhumane treatment they endure. Since January 1, 2017, the IOA has openly used the bodies of Palestinian martyrs as bargaining chips, after the Israeli government adopted what it called a “unified policy” for handling Palestinian bodies explicitly allowing their use for political leverage. This policy was approved by the Israeli Supreme Court, granting the army permission to detain the bodies of Palestinians and use them as “hostages” for negotiation. It also permitted degrading practices such as collecting bodies with bulldozers, dragging them, and desecrating them on a wide scale. *** Palestinian journalist Sali'h Al-Ja'farawi killed in southern Gaza Sunday 12-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Journalist and activist Sali'h Al-Ja'farawi was killed on Sunday while reporting the huge destruction that was left behind by the Israeli military aggression in Gaza City. Medical sources confirmed that the body of martyr journalist Sali'h Al-Ja'farawi, who was shot and killed by collaborators while covering the destruction in southern Gaza City, was transferred to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. Communication with Al-Ja'farawi had been lost on Sunday evening during his coverage of Israeli crimes in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza. Eyewitnesses reported that “outlaws” shot Sali'h and stole his belongings. Local and family sources added that Sali'h had received “death and assassination threats” from the Israeli occupation throughout the war, “until the mission was carried out today by outlaws in the Al-Sabra area.” Al-Ja'farawi was a prominent Palestinian activist, influencer, and journalist who worked tirelessly to document and share the Palestinian narrative and the unfolding genocide in Gaza, highlighting the crimes committed against civilians and displaced families. In a related development, a senior official from the Interior Ministry in Gaza confirmed that several security personnel were killed in an attack carried out by an armed militia in Gaza City. In a statement to Al Jazeera, the source noted that security forces had surrounded the militia group inside Gaza and were taking action to apprehend its members. The official also revealed that the militia had killed a number of displaced civilians returning from southern Gaza to Gaza City. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Palestinian man injured by the Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured tonight after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Bait Haneena, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to local sources. Sources said that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a man near the apartheid wall in Bait Haneena, injuring him in the pelvis and leg. T.R. *** Israeli occupation forces raid homes of Palestinian prisoners ahead of the swap deal Sunday 12-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out raids early Sunday in several cities and towns in the West Bank, targeting the homes of prisoners expected to be released as part of the imminent prisoner exchange deal. According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, the IOFs stormed homes in the villages of Bait Foureek and Dair El-'Hatab in eastern Nablus and warned families of prisoners not to hold celebrations or gatherings for their relatives following their release. Israeli forces also raided homes of two prisoners in Yatta City in southern al-Khalil and warned their families against organizing celebrations or displaying national slogans after their relatives are released. Other families of prisoners also received similar warnings from Israeli forces in different areas of the West Bank. These IOFs raids took place ahead of the anticipated prisoner exchange deal that will see the release of hundreds of Palestinians from Israeli jails, as part of the ceasefire agreement over the Gaza Strip. In a separate incident, a horde of the illegal Israeli settlers infiltrated into El-Tayba village in eastern Ramallah at dawn and set fire to a car belonging to a local resident. Another group of settlers went on the rampage through an olive grove in El-Mughayyir village in eastern Ramallah, destroying about 150 trees. Earlier at dawn, settlers also grazed their livestock on swaths of cultivated land in the same village. *** Israeli occupation forces continue assaulting El-Khaleel (Hebron)'s farmers as olive harvest season approaches El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) detained a number of farmers on Sunday and prevented them from harvesting olives on their lands in the town of Tarqoumiya, west of El-Khaleel (Hebron). This coincided with the launch of the national olive harvest campaign in the governorate, in support of farmers' steadfastness in the face of attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers. Local sources said that the IOFs kidnapped the farmers and prevented them from reaching their lands near the bypass road and the illegal Israeli settlements of Adora and Telem. They seized their vehicles and threatened them with not returning to their lands, paving the way for their seizure for colonial expansion in the area. Meanwhile, the 2025 olive harvest campaign was launched this morning from the Soba area, west of the town of Idthna in the Hebron governorate. The campaign was attended by El-Khaleel (Hebron) Governor, Khalid Dudeen, Minister Mu-ayyad Sha'ban, head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, and in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Civil Defense volunteers, the Red Crescent, foreign solidarity activists, residents, and official and national institutions. Sha'ban emphasized that the campaign comes within the framework of supporting farmers and protecting them from attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers during the olive harvest season, emphasizing that the Authority will continue its field presence in various targeted areas. Dudeen condemned the ongoing attacks by the occupation forces and illegal settlers against farmers, which aim to seize citizens' lands and forcibly displace them. He pointed out that these volunteer activities reflect the spirit of steadfastness and solidarity among the people of the governorate and its official and civil institutions to support Palestinian farmers and strengthen their continued presence on their land. The Tarqoumiya and Souba areas are subjected to a series of repeated violations by the occupation forces and settlers, including the demolition of homes and agricultural facilities, and preventing farmers from accessing their lands, in an attempt to seize control of lands adjacent to the racist Annexation Wall and annex them to the benefit of the illegal settlements built illegally on Palestinian lands. K.T. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid regime to seize thousands of dunums of Palestinian land in Jericho and JV Sunday 12-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) said that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime intends to seize more than 7,000 dunums of land in the Nabi Mousa area of Aree'ha (Jericho) and the Jordan Valley. In a report released on Saturday, ARIJ added that the Israel land authority had published on September 10 six new notices declaring its intent to appropriate vast tracts of Palestinian land in the areas of Dair 'Hajla, El-Zoar, and El-Jaheer. ARIJ highlighted that these Israeli measures constitute a clear violation of the international humanitarian law. “The Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and the Hague Regulations prohibit an occupying power from seizing private property belonging to people under occupation or making any changes to the laws and regulations in occupied territories except in ways that serve the interest of the local population.” ARIJ added that UN resolutions, notably Security Council Resolution 242 of 1967 and Resolution 2334 of 2016, affirm the illegality of settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories and declare all Israeli actions altering the status of these lands null and void. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** 5,256 settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holiday week Sunday 12-October-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The illegal Israeli settlers, called “Temple Mount” groups stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday in unprecedented numbers, marking the seventh day of the Jewish holiday “Sukkot,” under heavy security protection. Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)-based sources confirmed that 2,205 of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque over the day, bringing the total number of the illegal Israeli settlers who entered the site since the beginning of Sukkot to 6,256, a dangerous escalation observers say is the largest in the history of such incursions during this religious season. Researcher Ziyad Ibhais, an expert on Jerusalem affairs, said that Sunday’s incursion was the largest ever recorded during Sukkot, surpassing the previous record of 1,783 settlers on October 20, 2024. Ibhais added that the rate of incursions is continuously rising, enabling “Temple Mount” groups to exploit the momentum, especially amid Arab and Islamic silence, to impose new Judaizing realities inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. Meanwhile, Dr. 'Abdullah Ma'rouf, Professor of “Jerusalem Studies,” warned of the dangers in the remaining days of Sukkot, particularly Sunday and Monday, which mark the peak of incursions. The holiday concludes with “Simchat Torah”, a day that typically involves large-scale attempts to introduce ritual offerings into the Mosque. He explained that the escalation coincides with the second Hebrew anniversary of the October 7 events, a date exploited by extremist Temple groups and the religious Zionist movement as a show of force in their attempt to solidify their presence in the Aqsa Mosque. Dr. Ma'rouf also noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has symbolically tied the release of Israeli captives to this same Hebrew anniversary, aiming to craft a narrative of victory for his far-right supporters. The Jewish holiday season has long been considered one of the most dangerous periods of aggression against the Aqsa Mosque as it witnesses surges in settler incursions and violations. *** Palestinian injured in an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers on the West Bank town of Soureef Sunday 12-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) A Palestinian young man sustained bullet injuries after an armed Jewish settler opened fire at him on Sunday evening in Soureef town near al-Khalil City, south of the occupied West Bank. According to local sources, a horde of armed settlers attacked Palestinian homes in El-Quraynat area, on the outskirts of Soureef . Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said that a 42-year-old citizen suffered bullet injuries in his abdomen and arm when a settler opened fire at him in the town. *** Illegal Israeli settlers steal olive harvest of Palestinian farmers south of Nablus NABLUS, October 12, 2025, (WAFA) - Groups of the illegal Israeli settlers stole on Sunday the olive harvest of Palestinian farmers in the village of El-Lubban El-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, according to local sources. Sources reported that the illegal Israeli settlers stole the olive harvest in the mentioned village, after having chased out the farmers two days earlier. K.T. *** Illegal Israeli settlers begin building synagogue near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers began building a synagogue on land in the town of Tekoa, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), on Sunday. Tekoa Municipality Director, Tayseer Abu Mufri'h told WAFA correspondent that settlers began building a synagogue in a pastoral colonial outpost established after October 7, 2023, in the "Riya'h Ria'h" area in the Tekoa Wilderness. He pointed out that the colonists established several colonial outposts on high hills in the Tekoa Wilderness, seized water wells, and paved colonial roads. This portends the seizure of more land, its expansion, and its conversion into illegal settlements. K.T *** Illegal Israeli settlers shoot, injure a Palestinian man in Soureef and attack citizens in Yatta and Bait Ummar El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured this evening after being shot with live ammunition during a colonists’ attack on farmers in the town of Soureef, northwest of El-Khaleel (Hebron)n, according to local sources. The illegal Israeli settlers also assaulted several homes in the towns of Yatta and Bait Ummar in El-Khaleel (Hebron). The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that a 42-year-old man sustained live-bullet injuries to his hand and abdomen after being shot by an Israeli colonist and was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment. Local sources reported that a group of armed colonists attacked farmers in the Al-Qrinat area, opened live fire toward them, assaulted them, and prevented them from working on their lands, which are threatened with seizure for the benefit of a nearby illegal colonial outpost recently established on Palestinian citizens’ lands. The illegal Israeli settlers also attacked several homes belonging to the Sabarna family in the Khirbet El-Qutt area adjacent to the Karmei Tzur colony, which was built illegally on the lands of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. In a related development, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked the homes of the Rabee family in the village of El-Tuwani, in Masafer Yatta, and attempted to steal livestock; however, residents confronted them and prevented the theft. Meanwhile, Israeli forces seized a drilling machine belonging to a local resident while he was tending to his land in the Bani Na’eem wilderness, east of El-Khaleel (Hebron). The settler violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023. The indiscriminate violence by the illegal Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned. Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank. T.R. *** Illegal Israeli settlers open fire at Palestinian civilians near Ramallah RAMALLAH, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers opened fire at citizens in Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday evening. The head of El-Mughayyir village council told WAFA that the illegal Israeli settlers attacked the eastern plain of the village and opened fire at citizens present in the area. No injuries were reported. They also stole olive wood from the remaining olive trees uprooted and bulldozed by the occupation forces in the area about a month ago. The illegal Israeli settlers also raided the Marj Sa'i plain area, west of El-Mughayyir village and adjacent to the lands of the neighboring Abu Falah village, this morning. They cut down 150 olive trees at the start of the harvest season, before withdrawing from the area. Earlier this morning, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers grazed their sheep on citizens' lands in the village. Protesters carried banners condemning the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, demanding accountability for Israel’s actions and an immediate halt to the funding of genocide. The demonstrations are a reflection of the mounting popular demand in Australia for a change in foreign policy and a more forceful response to Israel's violations of international law. M.N. *** World cities rise in solidarity with Gaza: Marches and calls to hold Israel accountable Sunday 12-October-2025 CAPITALS, (PIC) Demonstrations and solidarity rallies with the Palestinian people continued across various capitals and cities around the world, in a scene that reflects the growing global awareness of the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, along with mounting calls to hold Israel accountable and end the ongoing genocide that has lasted for two years. In Australia, the group Palestine Action said that demonstrations took place on Sunday in 27 cities and towns in support of the Palestinians, most notably in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Protesters demanded that the government impose sanctions on Israel and halt all arms exports to it, stressing that continued cooperation with a state committing war crimes constitutes political and moral complicity. In Indonesia, thousands gathered at Independence Square in central Jakarta to celebrate the ceasefire in Gaza, chanting slogans rejecting all forms of normalization with Israel, political, commercial, and sporting alike. They also expressed solidarity with Palestinians in the West Bank, who continue to face escalating assaults and raids by Israeli forces. In Seoul, the South Korean capital, a solidarity protest was held calling for the rapid entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and the lifting of the siege imposed for more than two years. Participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted for an end to the suffering of civilians. Massive marches were held in London, where organizers said around half a million people took part in a demonstration that filled the streets of the British capital and headed toward the government headquarters on Downing Street. Protesters demanded an end to arms sales to Israel and accountability for those responsible for war crimes. Participants stressed the need to achieve justice based on international law and to end occupation and apartheid. In Berlin, thousands of demonstrators marched from the Brandenburg Gate to the city center, calling for a halt to Israeli arms shipments and an end to official support for the war on Gaza. Protesters denounced restrictions on pro-Palestine activism in Germany and chanted slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine” and “No peace on stolen land.” Limited clashes later broke out with police, who used force and arrested several demonstrators. In Paris, a large protest took place that included activists and healthcare workers, some of whom had served in Gaza’s hospitals during the war. They called for the release of imprisoned doctors, foremost among them Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, and for guarantees to uphold the ceasefire and deliver urgent medical aid. In Milan, hundreds of Italians joined a solidarity march where demonstrators demanded the reconstruction of Gaza and an end to the blockade imposed on it. In Oslo, protests were held outside the parliament building, where participants called for the closure of the Israeli embassy and the severing of diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv. In the Netherlands, the Plant an Olive Tree foundation organized a memorial event in Maastricht to honor the victims of the aggression, dedicated especially to Palestinian children and journalists killed in Israeli bombardments. Participants lined up in front of the historic St. Servatius Church, where photos and names of the martyrs were displayed, and thousands of children’s shoes were placed in the square in tribute to the young victims. In Stockholm, hundreds joined a demonstration condemning the Israeli army’s attack on the Global Solidarity Flotilla, calling for a comprehensive embargo on Israel due to its repeated crimes against civilians. Protesters carried banners reading “Total blockade on Israel for a free Palestine,” before marching toward the Swedish parliament. This global wave of protests, spanning more than thirty cities in just two days, reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause is no longer a local or regional issue, but rather a matter of global conscience calling for justice and an end to decades of occupation and collective punishment against civilians in Gaza and the West Bank. *** Gaza flotilla activist to be deported after being forced to sign confession Sunday 12-October-2025 NAZARETH, (PIC) Reyes Rigo Cervilla, a 56-year-old Spanish citizen who partook in the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla earlier this month, will be deported through Jordan today, Sunday, after being coerced into signing a confession under pressure, admitting to assaulting an Israeli prison guard. The activist affirmed that her actions were in self-defense after she and her friend were subjected to abuse during their detention. She will also pay a fine of 10,000 shekels (around $3,055) before her deportation. According to the Hebrew media, Israeli prosecutors initially claimed that Cervilla bit a guard while being returned to her cell at Ketziot prison, but she has denied the accusation. Israeli prosecutors later backtracked on this allegation and they said, in an amended indictment filed with the Beersheba magistrate’s court, that only she scratched the officer while refusing to enter her cell. The Spanish activist had to plead guilty to the charges in order to return home, her lawyer told The Times of Israel, adding that she acted in self-defense and accused the prison guard of behaving violently towards her and her friend. The lawyer said the Israeli police have footage of the incident that would have exposed the guard’s violent behavior towards the Spanish activist and her friend. During a court hearing, Cervilla insisted that she was subject to beatings and violence from prison guards during her detention. “They gave me beatings, they pushed us a lot,” she told the court. “Unlike what was described, they attacked my friend, I tried to defend her. When I got ahold of my friend they grabbed me by the head and my glasses fell. After receiving all sorts of shoves from every which way, I got up from the floor,” Cervilla explained. She further described being forbidden from exiting an overcrowded cell for an entire day. “We were 14 women in a five-person cell. They didn’t give us water, the food was smelly, I was shoved, they hit us, I didn’t receive everything I should have,” she said. Cervilla’s claims echoed those of prominent Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and other participants in the Sumud flotilla, who said that Israeli guards had repeatedly mistreated them over the course of their detention. *** PM, EU envoy discuss intensifying joint efforts engaging in post-ceasefire arrangements RAMALLAH, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and the European Union Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Christophe Bigot, discussed intensifying joint action and greater engagement in the preparations for the next phase following the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
